Students of all experience levels are invited to bring a favorite image that they want to make a linoleum print out of. Linocut Printmaking Classes are held at 3 Fish Studios on Saturdays at 10:30 am, and run to about 4 pm.
Eric will work with you to focus on how to transfer image to the linoleum, how to carve it out, inking techniques, and use of the Conrad Machine etching press for making relief prints. Students can expect to complete an edition of 10 prints using black ink on beautiful Rives BFK paper.
The registration fee is $75.00, and covers all materials, including linoleum, carving tools, inks, and Rives BFK. Patient instruction, nice music, and an afternoon refreshment (or two) will be provided as well.
