Located in an old apothecary in the residential Pacific Heights neighborhood, Baker and Banker serves up a convivial ambiance for its fresh farm-to-table New American cuisine. Stop in for a craft brew at the bar, stay for a casual romantic dinner of grilled steak with cast-iron potatoes.

Baker & Banker sources its ingredients from local farms and the Chef's tasting menu showcases their seasonal offerings in five courses. $75 per person (+$35 for wine pairing).

Chef's Table

Baker & Banker's chef's table is located in what used to be the restaurant's bakery. It's a cool atmosphere and can seat 6-8 people.

Abra Cranford

Mirrors, blackboards scrawled with daily wine and beer specials, and dark leather banquettes lend a sophisticated vibe to the 48-seat interior. The drop molding has been painted a tarnished gold metallic, adding reflective bling to the ceiling, and playing against the rich caramel-colored walls.

Baker and Banker (1701 Octavia) have added to the busy pace of the restaurant with a chef's table set up inside the adjoining bakery. There are full views of the kitchen so diners can see the preparations of everything from à la carte dishes to the eight-course surprise tasting menu.
