Birds of a Feather NightLife

at The Cal Academy of Sciences

Claw, peck or fly your way to NightLife for a live concert by Birds & Batteries, and a variety of fun activities in honor of International Migratory Bird Week. Artist and comedian Michael Capozzola and his cartoonist companions will transform you into bird-version of yourself in minutes.

Channel your inner naturalist in a bird sketching workshop led by renowned illustrator and wildlife biologist John Muir Laws, author of numerous field guides of California habitats. Plus, see how Academy scientists prepare bird specimens for their research collections and future study. Additional music by DJ Omar, whose eclectic sound resonates widely.
