Mixology, Mixtapes, and Remixes

at The Cal Academy of Sciences

Mix things up as the Cal Academy, Noise Pop, the Cocktail Lab, and SF Mixtape Society host an epic Nightlife at the museum.

Watch the mixologists at Cocktail Lab work their magic during demonstrations using seasonal ingredients. The SF Mixtape Society will host a mixtape swap, so come prepared with a mix tape, CD, or USB inspired by the theme of 'Night Creatures'.

Watch world-class DJs (including Dan the Automator, who's best-known for starting the band Gorillaz) spin and sample in the Remix Lounge and Piazza. Lounge sets include Friendzone at 6pm, Yalls at 7pm, Giraffage at 8pm. The Piazza will feature Heathered Pearls [Ghostly International, ISO50] and Dan the Automator.

NightLife starts at 6pm and is 21+.
