San Francisco is known for its extensive urban kayaking. Paddle the bay and enjoy the city from a different view. Whether you embark on City Kayak's two-hour downtown tour or Golden Gate Bridge tour, you're sure to see the city from a new angle.
Paddle the cool, calm waters around the city as you enjoy panoramic views of San Francisco's major landmarks — Alcatraz, Fisherman’s Wharf, Aquatic Park, Presidio, AT&T park, and the bridge itself.
[Owner] Choi says the first hour is a lesson on the water learning the basics of paddling in kayaks that are designed to be extra-stable. Then the guides lead the group on an hour-long trip that takes you around the piers to McCovey Cove and Mission Creek, passing under the Lefty O'Doul drawbridge on Third Street and paddling past Mission Creek Park with quiet houseboats across the way.
It's an easy course, even for a first-time paddler.
