Gilt City members are invited to stroll through the aisles of the first-ever ArtMRKT contemporary and modern art fair. Come Friday, Saturday or Sunday to tour the best the art world has to offer. If you want a sneak peak (and chance to buy before the crowd) stop by the VIP party on Thursday night.

Over 50 galleries are represented at ArtMRKT, and while the variety is almost endless, the emphasis is on local Bay Area artists. Works by more-famous names are also on offer, however—and you’ll marvel as you see a Kandinsky next to a black-and-white print taken by a local San Francisco photographer.

Whether you choose to look or buy is completely up to you.
