Stylish South Indian Fare

at Dosa on Fillmore

Dosa offers South Indian fare with spice and class to match its authenticity. Sumptuous décor, sophisticated service, and a marvelous 4-course tasting menu promise an exotic and memorable dining experience.

Dine on meticulously prepared and regally showcased South Indian cuisine. Bartenders push boundaries with cocktails derived from Indian spices, and the inspired wine list is tailored to the heat and zest of traditional chilies, masalas, and curries. Local and organic ingredients are used whenever possible. Consistently busy nights make reservations a very smart idea.

Dosa assuages choice-paralysis with a four-course tasting menu that offers a little of everything. Whet the palette with a starter (try the Sweet Corn and Pepper Soup), and ease into a mini Dosa course as cocktails are finished and wine is poured. Dosa’s are thin rice and lentil pancakes paired with chutneys and sambar, and the fiery, flirtatious Spicy Mung Masala is a perennial favorite. Course Three is a South Indian curry (the tender, balanced, Chicken and Eggplant curry is the stuff of dreams). Dessert ranges from traditional (Gulab Jamoon) to trendy (seasonal gelato). A four half-glass wine flight is also available, pre-selected for each dish.
