Grab A Drink
Eat, Drink, and Soak in the Arts
The Mission

Note: Heart SF is now closed

All the bases are covered. Soak in the sights at the gallery, bop to hip-hop and blues, share small plates with friends, and feel right at home. Heart is about enjoying great wine, food, art and even better company in a raucously vibrant locale. All in good taste.

Save Some Green

Heart features art openings the first week of every month offering up wine for about $5 a glass. And Spaghetti Sundays! For $15, Heart will serve up salad, garlic bread, and a bowl of spaghetti. There’s even a vegetarian option for the heart-conscious.

Pro Tip

Check out the wine list for creative and humorous descriptions. For example, the 2008 De Morgenzon Chenin Blanc is described as having “Charlize Theron beauty, J.M. Coetzee intellect, and Nelson Mandela power.” How’s that for a conversation starter?

Things that are great for the heart: jumping rope, taking the stairs, laughter, and open faced duck liver and fatted calf bacon banh mi. Okay, cardiologists might disagree with the benefits of bacon fat, but after a visit to Heart where people in the know flock to indulge in delicious food and wine, we venture to say you’ll have other things on your mind beside your resting pulse rate. Who knows what revelations may strike after a night of strolling through the art gallery and sharing musings with friends both new and old at Heart’s long communal tables.

Talk about sensory overload, Heart offers the complete experience. With food for thought and wine in mason jars, it’s just a matter of figuring out whether your heart or mind is racing faster.
