Pancakes to Die For

at Plow

Joel and Maxine (owners) treat Plow as an extension of their home, where they often entertain friends and family by preparing simple, well-made food sourced from local farms. Plow serves breakfast & lunch on the weekdays, and brunch on the weekends.

About Plow

Nearly 16 years after meeting at Oakland's Oliveto Restaurant and 8 years after opening Ruby Wine, Joel Bleskacek and Maxine Siu decided to take their passion for food and wine one step further.

In April 2010, they stumbled upon a vacant architect's studio right in their very own Potrero Hill neighborhood. Construction began shortly thereafter. Just as they carefully choose the ingredients for their menu, Joel and Maxine incorporated meaningful and interesting salvaged materials from the west coast (such as tables made from French oak barrels and floors salvaged from an old Washington hop house).

It's Midwest country boy meets San Francisco China girl.
