Lay soild foundations with a beginner boxing class at Polk St. Gym. Under the guidance of a Gold Glove Champion, you'll be boxing like Muhammad in no time (almost). Plus, you'll be ripped, fit, and ready to take on the world.
The beginning boxing class is the perfect introduction to boxing fundamentals for newcomers. It covers proper stance, jabs, right crosses, hooks, basic footwork and basic head movement.
Newcomers are asked to take at least 3 Beginning Boxing classes before joining the regular classes: this ensures that everyone has the proper foundation of boxing knowledge when they join the regular classes.
While not as intense a workout as the other classes, it is an essential starting point for newcomers.
