Hot Glass Cold Beer

at Public Glass

Never before attempted: glass makers from our era and area, will bring forward a design with variables, allowing the audience to determine what they want to see made. Each piece will be auctioned off as it’s being made, adding to authorship/ownership making each piece unique. The money raised will fund a visiting artist program.

This will be open to the public, exposing Bay Area citizens to the medium of glass and the best artists using it today. People are jazzed about “getting the band back together” in the bay area glass community and collaborating..

  • Featured Artist In The Hot Shop - Michael Fox
  • Flameworking Demonstrations By Robin Humphreys and Jeff Rogers
  • Music by Elliot Randall and James DePrato

HGCB is Public Glass’ long-running series that combines exciting glass demonstrations, live music and food & drink for a night of great entertainment. For a $25 donation, you'll select a one-of-a-kind drinking glass handblown by a Public Glass artist that we'll fill with your choice of beer, wine or soft drinks all evening; at the end of the night, the glass is yours to keep. 100% of proceeds benefit Public Glass.

Glasses available while supplies last!
