RayKo has 5 stars on Yelp. According to one photo-fanatic, “A walk through the halls and the back rooms is a photographers dream.” Did we mention they have 5 stars?
RayKo has an array of classes to choose from, ranging from old-school wet plate photography all the way up to cutting-edge digital photography and editing. With on-site darkrooms and printing capabilities, students learn to take charge of the entire photo production process from start to finish.
Classes are broken down into technique, darkroom, and digital, but each registration comes with a pass for the labs so you can practice developing and printing even when you’re not in class. For many students, that alone makes the cost of a workshop worth it. In between classes and darkroom sessions, peruse the constantly changing gallery or the marketplace of student work.
