Class: Take a Salsa Class

at Neck of the Woods

Hit the second-story dance floor at the Rockit Room for drinks, food, and a twirl with a few new dance partners. After learning some Salsa moves, get on the floor to show ‘em off.

Instructor Evan teaches as many as fifty people at a time in these casual Salsa classes, but don’t be surprised if it feels more like a social event than a seminar. Participants always pick up new steps and turns, but the emphasis is really on having a blast while dancing.

There’s no need to bring a date as there’s always a pretty good male/female ratio and the class is designed to have you dancing with a new partner every couple minutes. Think speed-dancing but with Salsa minus all that pressure. Regulars insist the classes are always easy to follow and Evan brings humor and patience to all of his lessons.

Pro Tip

"Need some encouragement to get out on the dance floor? Stop by the Rockit Room's daily Happy Hour before class. All beers are $3 and all other drinks are $2 off from 4:00-8:00pm." — The Sōsh Concierge
