Now Showing: A Behanding in Spokane

at SF Playhouse

SF Playhouse is proud to present the Regional Premiere of Martin McDonagh's dark comedy "A Behanding in Spokane." The mysterious, gun-toting Carmichael has been searching for his missing left hand for decades. Enter two bickering con artists with a hand to sell, and a hotel clerk with an aversion to gunfire, and we're set for an uproarious ride of love, hate, desperation and hope.

“You'll spend 90 minutes laughing nonstop.” --The Wall Street Journal

“Perfect, demented, ecstatic, sadistic and imaginative.“ -- New York Times

Give the man a hand, before he loses his head! Carmichael’s lost his hand. It’s been over thirty years, and he’s still mad as hell. This is black comedy at its funniest, thanks to Oscar winner Martin McDonagh (Pillowman, Beauty Queen of Leenane, In Bruges). Come join in the fun.

This may well be our funniest production of the year.
