Chef Laurent Katgely, a native of the French Alps, came to the States in 1992. He has worked at the Pan Pacific Hotel, City of Paris, Boulevard, and as Executive Chef of Foreign Cinema. His cooking earned glowing reviews and in 2009 Laurent opened Spencer on the Go, a French takeaway truck that has appeared on The Great Food Truck Race, Fab Food Carts and the Oprah Winfrey Show. Laurent, together with his wife Erin opened Chez Spencer in 2002 and named it for their son, Spencer.
Born in London and raised in the US, Preeti’s Indian culture, extensive international travel and classic French culinary training inspire her cooking. A former Executive Chef at Google and the deYoung Museum, and a contestant on Bravo TV’s “Top Chef” Season 6, Preeti enjoys creating flavor forward Indian Street Food and snacks at her San Francisco pop-up restaurant Juhu Beach Club.
An SF native, raised in the Miraloma area, Kelvin graduated from the California Culinary in 1985. He has been a chef in the San Francisco & Marin area for twenty years in a collection of well-regarded restaurants. This broad range of experience brings a unique flavor palette which he expresses through his passion for food.
Chef Dennis Lee learned to cook at a young age from his mother, who provided him with an approach to food based on devotion and love. Through working apprenticeships with talented chefs at various family owned restaurants on the East Coast, Boston and SF, he learned how to please guests without compromising personal standards. Using impeccably fresh ingredients in creative ways, Dennis catapulted traditional Korean and Japanese flavors to the forefront of today's culinary landscape.
Pastry chef Dan Huynh is a California Culinary Academy graduate who started his career at Alexander's Steakhouse Cupertino location on the savory side of things. After moving into pastries, and to the San Francisco location, Dan garnered acclaim for his innovative dessert tasting menu. His luxurious creations are anything but static and reflect Dan's unique imagination and creativity.
