Now Showing: SF Ballet in the Park

at Stern Grove

Take in the stunning grace and beauty of one of the world's premiere ballet companies in the equally stunning setting of Stern Grove. Pack a picnic, grab a friend, and prepare to be dazzled.

Founded in 1933, the SF Ballet is the oldest professional ballet company in America, and has emerged as a world-class company. From its earliest performance of Coppélia (1939), to the first American full-length production of Swan Lake (1940), to its magical modern-day performances, the SF Ballet has always been a can't-miss attraction.

About the Stern Grove Festival: every year since 1938, Sigmund Stern Grove -- a beautiful outdoor amphitheater at 19th and Sloat -- has been site of SF's free summer-long performing arts series.
