Tequila & Mezcal Flights
at Tacolicious & Mosto
Signature drink: Tequila, of course. Factor in other agave spirits like mezcal and sotol and there are more than 300 selections to choose from. Prices start at $8, and the Tequila comes with two chasers - Sangrita and an escabeche pickle back.
Also on tap: About a half dozen cocktails, including the namesake El Mosto margarita ($9, El Jimador reposado, agave nectar, lime juice), and the popular Paloma ($9, El Jimador blanco, St. Germain, grapefruit juice, Jarritos Toronja).
(more)There will be sake-style tequila service in five-ounce carafes, so that a group can taste a variety of tequilas at their table, side-by-side, without having to go back to the bar. Also, on the Mosto side, there will be a small selection of botanas (drinking snacks), including a tamale, and a $1.50, Mexico City-style al pastor taco, carved from a spit up at the front of the bar. And expect those canning jars covering the ceiling to fill up with little trinkets over time — staff members and investors have been asked to contribute something meaningful to them for a ceiling collage of sorts.
