The folks at Tacolicious really know their tequila. So every month they offer a different flight of three premium tequilas to help the rest of us catch up.
Currently on feature is Herradura tequila, which has been around since 1870 and is made from 100% Blue Agave. The flight includes Herradura's Silver, Reposado and Añejo tequila.
San Francisco’s become quite a hotbed for tequila producers, including Partida, Trés Agaves, Cabo Wabo and La Piñata. Though it may not replace wine as the thing to make when you come into some money, it’s certainly got some momentum.
About Tacolicious:
If Tacolicious had a battle cry, it would be “Fingers not forks!” Tacolicious isn't a taqueria by any standards, but we encourage eating in the spirit of one. Our menu incorporates six different tacos, as well as seasonal salads, a Tombo tuna tostada and more. And while we’re very serious about supporting local farmers and natural meat purveyors, we’re not above a crock of warm and gooey, delicious chile con queso made with a dubiously shelf-stable cheese that starts with the letter V.
