San Francisco Ballet invites the LGBT community to its 2012 Nite Out series featuring three dynamic evenings of world-class dance and an exclusive post-performance party. The first show features Onegin, a masterful ballet adaptation of the early-19th century novel in verse, Eugene Onegin, by Alexander Pushkin.

The Opera House is home to the SF Opera, North America's second largest opera company, and the SF Ballet, which the New York Times calls "the most impressively diverse ballet company in America."

The passionate story of Russian aristocrat Eugene and his lost chance for love with the beautiful Tatiana, unleashes heartbreaking themes of unrequited love, anguish, and tragic irony. Set to a powerful score by Tchaikovsky, this production features lavish scenery and costumes by award-winning designer Santo Loquasto and lighting by James F. Ingalls.

Each Nite Out performance includes a full evening's entertainment

  • Meet the Artist Interview – 7pm Deepen your appreciation and knowledge of dance. Learn about the choreographers, dancers, or visiting artists in these salon-style interviews.
  • Performance – 8pm
  • Reception – 10:30pm to Midnight. Continue the fun.Your post-performance party is hosted in the Dress Circle Bar featuring breathtaking views of City Hall, great music, cocktails and wine by Gallo.
