Film Night in the Park: Midnight in Paris

at Washington Square Park

On the list of ways to spend a summer night in SF, it's hard to beat watching a Woody Allen masterpiece in the park. Grab a blanket and a loved one, and join other in-the-know San Franciscans in North Beach's stunning Washington Square Park.

Every summer Film Night in the Park puts on free outdoor movies in parks throughout the city. Films are screened in local parks and projected on a giant outdoor screen. Be sure to bring blankets, pillows, backrests, and chairs. Popcorn, candy, and sodas are also on sale.

About Midnight in Paris

Owen Wilson, Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Kathy Bates, and Carla Bruni star in Woody Allen’s romantic comedy about a family on a business trip in the City of Light. As a young couple engaged to be married experiences a profound transformation during their visit to Paris, an idealistic man with a romanticized view of the city finds that there’s plenty of truth to that old adage about the grass being greener on the other side. Michael Sheen, Mimi Kennedy, and Kurt Fuller co-star.
