Stenciling has come a long way since Joan Jett was using spray paint and cardboard to make her Sex Pistols t-shirt. This classic method of image transfer has elevated from cracked, urban sidewalks to living room walls, clothing, and even furniture.
In DIY Design: Stenciling on Windows, Walls, Furniture, and more..., you will learn the process of stenciling different materials and surfaces found around the house.
Using simple materials, you will learn to cut your own stencils. Then you will learn different techniques to transfer your image onto a variety of household surfaces. For your final project, you will create your own piece of unique wall art using your new stencils and a recycled/reclaimed window pane.
