Knitting 101: Your First Stitch And Pattern

at Workshop

This class is designed for all you knitting virgins out there who are ready to enter full knitting-hood. In this class, instructor Ali Crockett (not a knitting virgin...not by a long stretch) will teach you the continental style of knitting.

She will jedi you in knit and purl stitches, how to cast on and bind off, yarn overs, increases, and reading patterns. You will put these new skills to work by knitting a simple pouch, wristcuff, or iPod/phone koozie. You will walk out with your own set of needles, yarn, and all the skills you need to finish your knitting project at home (if you don’t finish it in class).
