Great place! The private booths were kinda cool, as I definitely want to bring a date back there and get a handy. This place is a classic drinking spot out of Dublin or London. Loved the bartender "The Claire" and loved the ladders on wheels she used to fetch the inventory overhead. Also tried a new bourbon here called "James E. Pepper 1776", which was phenomenal.
A spacious shot gun style bar equipped with mezzanine, and private-ish seating for both couples and larger groups. Located in the Tenderloin, the fair priced cocktail menu and decor share a nostalgia for an era long past but highly regarded in SF. Speakeasy style bars aren't difficult to find in this city, but few provide quite like the Tradition.
Sweet talk your way into a booth - worth it.
killer cocktails!
