The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art is a dynamic center for modern and contemporary art.
My Google voice commands work better than Agent Ruby. It was kinda lame
Get there super early. The line is LONG (we waited 2.5 hours). And it will only be longer with free admission. But the wait is worth it.
Leave yourself enough time to look at everything, you'll want to!
Just had to bring my kids (age 11) here today, as tomorrow will be the last opportunity till 2016. What?! Look, I get it...not too many kids want to spend more than 45 minutes here, but with a little encouragement, lots of questions, and instilling a sense of wonder, anybody can gift "the love of art". Today I got tremendous satisfaction from witnessing my son read the placard to Andy Warhol's 1967 Self-Portrait. He was sincerely interested in why his style was so different. (Tear.) Then held back any tears when my daughter quickly said: "Hey Daddy, look at those naked butts! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!"
