La Cocina: Cultivating Food Entrepreneurs.
Did the half-hog butchery class and it was fantastic. If you are going as a couple, ask ahead of time if there is a way to get a reduced price and take home less meat--unless you have a LOT of freezer space!
One of the best food festivals I've been to in the city.
Lines for days. Get drunk and it won't matter.
Resist the temptation to stand in the longest lines! I've found a lot of new favorites by going to the less crowded booths. They are all delicious!
Come prepared to eat a lot. Choose your food wisely.
Go later in the day. It's less crowded. Divide and conquer the lines with friends.
Get there early.. the good food runs out!
To get tickets, you actually go to the Parties That Cook website, not La Cocina's: http://www.partiesthatcook.com/san-francisco-bay-area-cooking-classes/
Very crowded and long lines but excellent food
