nopa is a San Francisco gathering place north of the Panhandle, serving urban rustic food and specializing in organic wood-fired cuisine.
The food is amazing and the staff is incredibly friendly when trying to help you get a last minute table at this always packed restaurant. There's even a good chance that a couple of spots will open up at the community table while you wait.
Have been for dinner, and it's great - but it's an even better brunch spot. The custard French toast was on the 2012 7x7 100 Things to Eat Before You Die list -- and I'm glad I ate it.
Serving up Blue Bottle Coffee and morning cocktails can never hurt. Share the French Toast and you'll be happy.
